This is an outstanding opportunity to craft next-generation AI/ML-powered creative tools that will reach millions worldwide. As a key player in our highly collaborative team, you will work closely with internal product teams and collaborators to architect and maintain user-facing experiences. Your diligent, meticulous approach, coupled with your ability to mentor and have a proactive mindset, will drive tangible results in our team-oriented culture.What you'll DoHelp establish architecture and quality coding practices for the Adobe Firefly client platformDefine long-term solutions for component-based architecture using functional programmingWork closely with the design team, product management, and our internal clients to translate early ideas into interactive prototypesEngage with customers to identify problems, conduct A/B tests, and refine workflowsContinuously expand your knowledge and skills to stay ahead of the latest development, test, and deployment methodologiesWhat you need to succeed8+ years of professional experience developing interactive web applications, preferably in the creative tool domainB.Tech or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent experienceExcellent computer science fundamentals and a good understanding of design and performance of algorithmsDeep knowledge of cloud-native applications and building and deploying web applications or interactive sites using ReactHigh proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript (ES6+), Java, Spring Boot, Python, and Distributed Services designPassionate about quality of work, persistent, and uncompromisingProficient in writing code that is reliable, maintainable, secure, and performantKnowledge of AWS services and/or Azure, Docker, Jenkins, SplunkProficiency in Test Driven Development (TDD) and functional programming styleConfidence to be an opinionated, pragmatic developer, especially in writing high-performance, reliable, and maintainable codeAbility to perform independently in a hybrid or remote-first work environment with strong written and verbal communication skillsBonus QualificationsExperience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)Exposure to generative AI models, including text-to-image and large language modelsExperience with video or similar multi-track non-linear editorsExperience in UX design, design systems, or close collaboration with design teamsKnowledge of modern web technologies, such as WASM, WebGPU, canvas rendering, security, asynchrony, and performance optimizationExposure to PyTorch/TensorFlowKnowledge of databases like Cosmos, Kafka, SQS, Redis, MongoDB, Solr, Dynamo, and Elastic SearchAdobe is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
