A BSc/MSc is strongly preferred, but equivalent experience or molecular biology laboratory experience without a degree is also valuable.Key Responsibilities Include:Technical SpecialistEquipment specialist: Serve as SME for multiple items of laboratory equipment, advising on usage and maintenance, and participating in equipment management processes for calibration, servicing, and record keeping.Sales Enablement specialist: Participate in sales enable activities including lab tours, instrument demonstrations, workflow design, evaluation services, and customer throughput assistance.Illumina product specialist: Explain and perform Illumina product workflows within the ISC lab space for sales enablement activities and for non-customer related internal staff and external visitors.General SpecialistSafety specialist: Oversee waste stream management, chemical labeling, and participate in risk assessments in multiple spaces.Quality specialist: Maintain ISO13485 lab processes, ensuring compliance with processes, documentation, and trainings.Security specialist: Audit access and LMS compliance for ISC Labs.Procurement specialist: Participate in large initiative purchasing (e.g., CapEx, bulk orders).Stock specialist: Oversee operations of systems deployed in ISC Lab, monitor changes, lead set-up and modification improvements, and liaise with users for optimization.CSU specialist: Oversee CSU program initiatives (defrost/Kaizen events, temperature monitoring, and ownership).Operational Excellence specialist: Oversee 6S and operational improvements in ISC Lab.Communication specialist: Communicate initiatives and progress, receive requests (BriefingSource), and liaise with Lab Supervisor/Request owner to coordinate lab activities.What Can You ExpectOur team members are bright, energetic, and dedicated - they are the driving force behind our innovation and impact.
