We are looking for a Production Planner based in NVIDIA ShenZhen Office to support data center server business growth in ASIA. As a part of the Operations team you will be responsible for server products’ build plan, supply commitment. At NVIDIA, we keep striving for continuous improvement with our partners. Our team will provide suggestions to the management team of NVIDIA and its subcontractors on how to pursue a higher performance level on our Key Performance Index: supply commitment hit rate, supply commitment stability, pull in/push out, tracking, and production plan efficiency.What you’ll be doing:Drive CM supply commitment for server products that the rest of NVIDIA will rely on to make customer revenue commitments and service commitment, working closely with factory production managers to address and resolve issues.Create visibility on server products’ production plan leveraging SAP PO management. You will handle purchase order management within SAP system, ensuring stable production.Manage server products shipments per Demand Planning, the Business Units and service team’s shipment signal and allocation.Proactively identify potential production risks e.g., capacity, material, quality, etc. and coordinate with supply/demand planning to determine tradeoffs while working w/ CM/factory operations to craft an optimized production recovery plan.Manage corresponding functional teams on inventory quarantine, rework execution, shipment recovery.Execute demand trade-offs and cancellations, prioritization, and commits related to strategy changes, work with CM to reduce material excess to minimize material liability.Monitor aging inventory and minimize obsolescence and waste, ensuring optimal stock turnover.Drive planning system enhancements, automation, and process improvements to support growing global business.What we need to see:Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or relevant areas or equivalent experience.3+ years of working experience in supply chain/ operations/ manufacturing, with focus in production/ supply planning.Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, organizational, and quantitative skills. Proven track record to automate and improve processes and inspire changes cross-functionally to get the results.Experience in planning ERP system such as SAP/ APO/ S4 HANA, and in-depth understanding of MRP conceptsExcellent analytical skills and hands-on with excel details to analyze and deploy data formulas, pivot tables. Ability to write excels macros is a plus.Data visualization application tools such as Tableau, Power BI or other similar software is a plusLanguage: Excellent English skills on reading, writing, speaking, and listeningPersonality: highly organized, detailed orientated, a self-starter with a strong sense of ownershipWays to stand out from the crowd:Direct experience working in a CM manufacturing environment and understands CM production line/shop floor concepts.ERP SAP experience and advanced Excel macro skills are plus.High capability to manage multiple assignments concurrently; requires excellent organizational skills.Self-starter, extremely agile/flexible with an attribute for growth and continuous learning. Strong sense of ownership, exceptional attention to detail and delivers resultsExperience working with diverse production and planning partners across various time zones.
