The EMEA Corporate Development team is instrumental in the timely execution of real estate investments, M&A and capital planning projects. The Senior Analyst Real Estate reports into the Senior Director of Real Estate Coroporate Development EMEA and will contribute to the acquisition of new data center development sites across the EMEA region in collaboration with the team. This role gives you the opportunity to gain significant deal exposure and work closely with senior leadership in a fast-paced, global organization and thriving industry. ResponsibilitiesSources and assists in the execution of data center development transactions across EMEAPerforms real estate financial analysis and technical support around the acquisition, disposition, leasing and valuation of real estate assetsActs as our eyes and ears within assigned real estate markets and builds/maintains relationships with external stakeholders like real estate developers, investors, advisors, local authorities and power companiesInterfaces with internal colleagues (design and construction, country managing directors, operations, HR, legal, finance, tax etc.) and key stakeholders/ business leaders (regionally and globally) to assess real estate needs and evaluate requestsWorks cross-functionally with Lease Administration on new lease abstracting, quarterly reporting of real estate activity with Finance and compliance with REIT requirements QualificationsMinimum Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance or a related disciplineMinimum of proven years experience in real estate transactions, ideally within data center, industrial or logistic real estateCommercial attitude and result drivenStrong organizational and analytical skillsAbility to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service  Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, experience working in a multinational business environment is preferredFluent German business language skills are a plus, and will be a key differentiator for candidatesStrong understanding of the principles of real estate valuationCFA and/or MRICS charter holder or the ambition to obtain one of these titlesEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.  If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing this form.
