VP, Global Benefits and Employee MobilityDescription -SummaryThe VP, Global Benefits and Employee Mobility drives HPs global benefits strategy and design across more than 55 countries while ensuring efficient and effective management of all processes around the delivery of benefits at HP. In addition to benefits the role has responsibility for the Global Employee Mobility, Wellness and Recognition teams as well as the various vendors that support these teams at HP. This role reports to the SVP, Total Rewards.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with leadership to develop and execute the benefits strategy that aligns with the company’s values and objectives, ensuring offerings remain competitive in the marketplace.   Leverage deep expertise to drive design of programs including understanding the market, drivers of costs, compliance, governance, employees’ diverse needs.Lead and mentor a senior team of global benefits and global employee mobility professionals, providing guidance, training, and development to ensure high performance and professional growth.Oversee the day-to-day administration of global benefits programs, including health, life insurance, disability, time off, leave, retirement plans, wellness programs, recognition programs.Ensure oversight of the global employee mobility programs including long and short-term assignments, payroll transfers and immigration or tax support provided to employees. Take a hands-on approach in senior executive mobility cases where required.Manage relationships with external benefits and employee mobility providers and vendors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, timely compliance, and cost-efficiency. Lead the evaluation and selection of new vendors as needed.Ability to effectively communicate and ability to influence at executive level to drive innovation, strategy and programs at scale.Stay updated on industry regulations and legal requirements, ensuring all benefit and mobility programs comply with relevant laws and regulations (ACA, ERISA, HIPAA etc).Focus on managing the benefits budget, regularly analyzing costs and exploring opportunities to optimize spending without compromising quality. Provide data-driven recommendations for cost-effective adjustments.Manage large scale projects with cross functional teams as needed which may include benefits and compensation programs.Oversee the creation of clear and engaging communications regarding benefits offerings, changes, and enrollment processes. Address employee inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.Utilize benefits and mobility data to track utilization, assess program effectiveness, and provide insights to senior management on trends, potential risks, and areas of improvement.Oversee key Mergers, Acquisitions or divestitures projects with an ability to develop and implement scalable benefits and compensation solutions to address the unique challenges of integrating diverse total rewards programs while maintaining compliance with local regulations and preserving employee satisfaction.    Coaching and leading the team of TR experts in country.The role may include supporting the business with compensation related matters as needed.   RequirementsMinimum of 15 years of experience in global employee benefits with oversight for design and compliance across multiple countries globally or related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role.In-depth knowledge of benefits laws and regulations.Proven experience in vendor management, benefits strategy, design, and cost optimization.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to influence and drive decisions.Strong financial acumen including oversight for pensions and financial aspects of benefits and compensationExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.  Executive presence and influence when engaging with senior leaders across the organization.Demonstrated flexibility and efficient time management with the ability to prioritize workload with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.Global compensation and benefits experience is needed with strong knowledge of legislation and compliance across multiple complex countries.Ability to collaborate cross functionally with People Partners, Finance, Legal, Communications, Payroll, HR Shared Services and communicate in a way that is understandable to others.Strong knowledge across Total Rewards with experience in Compensation in addition to Benefits.CompetenciesResults Driven: The successful candidate will set compelling goals and will be tenacious in accomplishing them.
