As a Level 26 Cloud Operations Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, optimizing, and scaling our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is robust, secure, and efficient to support our mission.The Cloud Operations Team at TCGplayer is a dynamic group of experts dedicated to maintaining and enhancing our cloud-based infrastructure. As a senior member of the team, you will lead initiatives that drive performance and scalability across our platform. You will collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud resources, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to deliver exceptional experiences.What you will accomplish:Architect and implement advanced cloud infrastructure solutions to support our platform's growth and scalability.Optimize cloud environments for high performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.Develop and lead automation strategies to streamline cloud operations and minimize manual intervention.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions into the development lifecycle.Enhance security measures and ensure compliance across our cloud systems. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize resource utilization and cloud operations.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of best practices within the team.What you will bring:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications are highly valued.Significant experience in cloud operations roles, with deep expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Advanced proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Terraform).Strong experience with monitoring and logging tools to ensure cloud system health.
