Proofpoint.Proofpoint is seeking for a highly organized and dynamic Senior R&D Project Manager to lead complex, cross-division projects involving multiple products. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with division program managers, product managers, and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery from concept to execution.This is an opportunity to drive innovation, coordinate high-impact initiatives, and influence the development of cutting-edge solutions across our organization.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate large-scale, cross-division R&D projects that span multiple product lines, ensuring alignment with company objectives and strategic goalsCollaborate closely with program managers, product managers, and engineering teams to define project scope, requirements, and deliverablesDevelop detailed project plans, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress to ensure timely and successful deliveryFacilitate effective communication among all stakeholders, acting as the main point of contact between teams and upper managementTrack project performance, manage risks, and proactively resolve issues to keep projects on schedule and within budgetPrepare and present regular status reports, updates, and documentation for stakeholders and leadershipFoster a collaborative, innovative environment, motivating teams and leading without direct authorityEnsure comprehensive project documentation and adherence to best practices throughout the project lifecycleRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, or Computer Science (PMP certification is a plus)3–5 years of experience managing R&D or software development projects, in international SAAS software development organisationProven track record of leading complex, multi-product initiativesDemonstrated experience working cross-functionally with program managers, product managers, and engineering teamsExceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead teams without formal authorityStrong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to risk management and issue resolutionProficiency with project management tools (e.g., Conf, Jira) and agile methodologiesWhy ProofpointProtecting people is at the heart of our award-winning lineup of cybersecurity solutions, and the people who work here are the key to our success.
