Job Requisition ID #24WD83580Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Manager for our Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operations (AECO) Strategic Engagement in Japan. You will be a strategic leader for Autodesk's AECO market in Japan, coordinating and defining important go-to-market strategies. We ask that you have a nuanced understanding of the Japanese market. You will also need to demonstrate excellent leadership skills and ability to navigate the varying requirements of different countries and collaborate with cross-functional teams.In this new role, you will align with important internal partners from sales, marketing, and product leadership, and build relationships with our visionary customers. You'll grow and nurture relationships, develop country plans, own and execute the expansion strategy, and inspire internal and external contributors to achieve impressive business outcomes and monitor results.You will have a deep understanding of the Japanese design and construction market, along with experience in executing successful market strategies.Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience engaging with buildingSMART Japan and other industry associations. You will identify potential partners, fostering strategic relationships, attending industry events, coordinating with our teams to align with partner strategies, staying informed about Japan and international industry trends, and evaluating and improving our partnership strategies. We are in a period of exciting and dynamic change as we continue to expand market share through multiple business growth initiatives and our platform strategy. You will have input into the shape, direction, and growth of the organisation as we transition through this change and plan for the future.You will report into the Director, AECO APAC & EMEA Industry Strategy Engagements. We offer both hybrid and remote working options. ResponsibilitiesRepresent the AECO Strategy Team in Japan, develop and coordinate key go-to-market strategies for our Japan marketLeverage a nuanced understanding of the Japanese AECO market contribute to growth strategiesEngage with stakeholders across the region, both internal and external navigating the diverse requirements of different countriesReport and provide strategic insights and recommendations based on market trends and competitive landscapeCollaborate with cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives, demonstrating strong leadership and team-working skillsExperience in creating, implementing, and measuring the success of comprehensive business plansAbility to travel up to 30% Minimum Qualifications & Skills7+ years experience working in the AECO sector in Japan.Fluency in Japanese and English is essential, as well as exceptional communication skillsKnowledge of AECO application offerings for both Autodesk and other industry technology offeringsExperience in working with executive presence, high level of confidence and maturity with solid experience working across large corporations Highly DesirableActive member of buildingSMART JapanCurrently working in the AECO technology sectorLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
