Job Requisition ID #25WD86334Position OverviewAutodesk is looking for Principal Software Engineer to join Enterprise System and Application Engineering team within the Growth Experience Technology (GET) organization. This team is organized by product domain to best align with each other and their team members, so they can guide the greatest growth, evolve their platforms, and accelerate efficiency and scale.As a AWS Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, coding, testing, and implementing AWS solutions that align with our business needs. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the AWS platform effectively supports our operations and business processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and Git Administration and will play a crucial role in automating and optimizing our development and deployment processes. You will report to the Engineering Manager and will work from Bangalore location.ResponsibilitiesHands-on experience with AWS (or another cloud provider's) technologies, such as SQS, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, and LambdaExperience building scalable systems and services in the cloud, including calling other REST services from within a REST serviceHands-on experience in Java, Node.js, Python development along with strong problem-solving skillsDevelop backend services in AWS using any programming language, preferably PythonDevelop Integration applications/micro servicesDevelop API proxies using Apigee/AWS API gatewaysContribute as a strong technical lead, who can guide the team through the solutions after reviewing with the Solution ArchitectDrive and improve performance, scalability and security of applicationsActively participate in code reviews of own code and that of peersWrite test and debug programs and create Technical documentationWork in fast paced development using agile methodologiesAdhere to Autodesk internal quality standards.Experience in building, running and monitoring SaaS applications at large scaleExperience with multi-repo GIT code bases, REST-based web services, testing frameworks such as Blaze meter, shell scripts, automated CI/CD pipelinesCreating and enforcing engineering standards and practices, ensuring that team adheres to high-quality development principlesArchitect, design, and implement high-quality, clean, and efficient code following best practices and development guidelinesPromoting a culture of metrics-based analysis and decision-making within the teamEnsure delivery of high-quality solutions by actively participating in quality assurance effortsWorking closely with stakeholders and product teams, requiring excellent collaborative skills and the ability to coordinate efforts across globally distributed teamsTroubleshoot and resolve complicated technical issues, providing guidance and solutions to the teamProactively and continuously evaluate and address issues related to performance, stability, scalability, and extensibility of the systemsResearch, prototype, and implement new ideas, technologies, and patterns to solve complex technical challengesDeliver results that meet product user stories with a high level of quality and customer satisfactionWork closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of featuresMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field9+ years of experience with AWS with services such as SQS, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, Lambda, ELB’s, AWS RDS, Dynamo DB, AWS API GatewayExperience designing and building RESTful APIs using Microservices architectureMust be proficient in at least one Programming Languages like Python, Java, JRuby, APEXWorking on Integration with CRM applications will be desiredExposure in any Integration Tools like TIBCO, Apigee, ETL, MuleSoft etc is desiredDemonstrated technical leadership experience such as being an architect or tech lead for high impact projects, comfortable defining technical solutionExcellent interpersonal communication skillsAn innovative and collaborative approach with a commitment to engaging with engineersPreferred QualificationsExperience deciding when to use architectural, integration and software design patternsA team-player, self-motivated, autonomous, empathetic with a result-focused passion to deliver an overall solution#LI-RV1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
