Our team is growing fast and plays a pivotal role in advancing environmental sustainability through precision engineering, and we’re seeking a Staff Quality Assurance Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of our solutions.What You’ll DoShape QA Strategy: Partner with engineers, product managers, and designers to define and implement quality KPIs and evolve our testing strategy from the ground up Drive Test Coverage: Design, implement, and maintain E2E API and UI tests using frameworks such as Playwright with TypeScript Own the QA Process: Establish best practices and standards for manual and automated testing across a microservice-based architecture Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Interface directly with product and engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure product quality Bug Tracking & Communication: Clearly document, communicate, and track bugs, enhancements, and testing insights—especially important as our team works across time zones using Slack and asynchronous communication Support Developer Velocity: Partner with the team to accelerate feature development while maintaining high quality standards What You’ll NeedMinimum Qualifications4+ years of experience in quality assurance, software engineering, or a related fieldPreferred Qualifications5+ years of experience in QA engineering or related software rolesProficiency in Node.js and ReactExperience with E2E API testing and testing frameworks like Playwright or similarFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub ActionsStrong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated experience working in software at scaleProven ability to work independently and take initiative to drive process improvementExperience with E2E UI testingExperience with SaaS platformsPrevious experience working with carbon accounting, sustainability, or ESG platformsContributions to defining QA metrics or building test automation in early-stage processesExperience supporting software in both monolithic and microservice architecturesExperience working in an agile development environment preferred, with a focus on continuous improvement and deliveryPhysical Requirements and Working ConditionsEmbrace your inner wanderlust – expect up to 10% travelStay virtually untethered with the power of reliable internet access, enabling you to work remotely from your chosen spot, whether that's your home office or a beachside caféHow You’ll Be Rewarded✅ Salary range in the US: $129,000.00 - $207,000.00✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits packageThe salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US.
