Associate Software Engineer (.NET)

We are looking for a highly motivated Associate Software Engineer (.NET) to join our Docket team in Belgrade. The work is focused on the development and maintenance of our web-based applications for the Intellectual Property Market while actively shaping the future of given products, as well as team practices and processes. If you are passionate about backend development and have aspirations towards front-end development, this is the perfect opportunity for you to grow with us! About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments 6+ months of professional working experience in developing C# .NET applications6+ months of experience working with SQL or similar database technologies It would be great if you also had . . . Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related Engineering degree Understanding of Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban Any professional working experience and understanding of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript libraries and common front-end frameworks (ideally Angular) What will you be doing in this role? Work closely with higher-level engineers to increase functional knowledgeLearn and apply best practices in software developmentDevelop and apply understanding of software development lifecycle and delivery methodologySuggest alternative methodologies or techniques to achieve desired resultsWorking closely with product management to scope and deliver the product roadmapOptimize and maintain web applications for maximum speed and scalability  Product you will be developing Docket is a productivity tool, in essence, an intellectual property (IP) document processor with the goal of ingesting and automating the processing of documents and correspondences from different input sources to the Intellectual Property Management System (IMPS). From the technical perspective, Docket is a SaaS solution utilizing various Azure services to achieve the goal. We use Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and Azure App Services to host our scalable .NET code.  About the team We're a small and highly talented team. Currently, the Docket team has 3 talented engineers in Belgrade, and we collaborate with the rest of our international team. This role reports to our Team Lead, Software Engineering from Belgrade. The docket application is part of a wider .NET eco-sphere that consists of 100+ people.
