This individual will also work well with their team of sales engineers and product specialists, as well as with partners and leverage the power of corporate resources within their account base.Your day-to-day Focus on hunting, developing and closing business with small to mid-sized organizations (up to 2500 employees) across Australia and New ZealandAbility to establish strong business relationships at the executive level, advanced solution selling capabilities, conducting sales presentations, coordinating multiple resources within an account, while consistently and successfully closing business for ProofpointTechnical and business acumen, to include the ability to coordinate and deliver compelling portfolio presentationsWork with System Engineers and Product Specialists to prepare account strategies and plansPartner with marketing and the channel to gain access into new accountsStrong operational excellence, to include forecast accuracy, Salesforce pipeline development, etc.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Proofpoint’s competitive positioning in the marketplaceAbility to travel 50% of the time ​​What You Bring To The Team Minimum 2 years Sales experience generating net new businessDemonstrated consistent 100%+ Quota Attainment and President Club attendanceProven experience selling a complex multi-product architecture to organisations, selling into C-level Executives to Evaluator-level EngineersExperience managing an entire sales cycle from start to finishMinimum 1 – 2 years Cold Calling experience (not tech, SaaS or Security specific)Technical aptitude and ability to learn new business and technical concepts quicklyWhy ProofpointProtecting people is at the heart of our award-winning lineup of cybersecurity solutions, and the people who work here are the key to our success.  We’re a customer-focused and a driven-to-win organization with leading-edge products.
