The Senior Solution Consultant provides pre-sales support in the development and presentation of our platform for prospective clients and current customers to address the complex problems that Workiva's platform and solutions solve. The qualified candidate will be able to offer domain knowledge and specific technical subject matter expertise to the sales function, supporting the business and functional aspects of Workiva's platform and solutions via technical and architecture presentations, product demonstrations, and communication of value-based messaging about the Workiva platform. What You’ll DoExecute pre-sales framework to engage customers, prospects, and partners via virtual and onsite meetings, drive the discovery process, lead product demonstrations, and identify areas where Workiva solutions align to address customer/prospect needsDemonstrate expertise across all of Workiva’s domain areas - Financial Reporting, Sustainability Reporting, and GRC - developing working knowledge of industries, departments, and use cases where Workiva can have an impactAssist sales in developing account plans in support of Workiva strategies and objectivesConduct process assessments with customers, build Proof of Concepts to validate requirements, build and present partner specific business casesEnsure customer success by working with implementation partners and Workiva Client Services team for smooth on-boarding and long term successAssist in developing new use-cases or by using existing templates providing proof of our solution's impact and value propositionMay begin to deliver cross-domain coaching, training, or mentoring peersWork with Sales, Product Marketing, Client Services, Scoping, and Customer Success to achieve team and company goalsWhat You’ll NeedMinimum QualificationsRequires a minimum of 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 4 years and a Master’s degree; or 2 years and a PhDPreferred QualificationsAbility to communicate experiences and industry trends clearly to prospects and customersExperience engaging with and presenting to business or IT managers and executivesExcellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skillsSelf-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvementExperience building processes from the ground up, including design, proposal, and cross-functional alignmentDemonstrates proactive collaboration and feedback to product management teams to capture new customer requirements and enhancements, may require guidance as neededAbility to solve problems and articulate solutions to business problems with strong communication and presentation skillsHands on technical experience with SaaS solutions, cloud technologies, and architectures preferredExperience with high level technical aspects of connectivity and integration (API)Capability to gather business needs and present a value based, compelling software demonstration is preferredTravel Requirements & Working ConditionsUp to 50% TravelReliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva officeWorkiva is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
