Academic and commercial groups around the world are using NVIDIA products to redefine deep learning and data analytics, and to power data centers. Join the team building many of the largest and fastest data centers in the world! NVIDIA is in search of a candidate with the capacity to collaborate within a complex customer-focused team that necessitates superb communication skillsWhat you will be doing:Deploy and support NVIDIA productsGuide and supervise 3rd party contractors in field or remote settingsEnsure accurate cable installations, including the number and type of connections, port assignments, and timing of activity while following standard methodologiesPrint labels for re-labeling cables based on a Point to Point (P2P) schemeConduct quality testing of all cables usedResolve issues involving cabling componentsValidate and update all related work instructions for cabling activitiesProvide input on Data Center Standards updates as needed, while balancing multiple tasks and priorities and actively participating in project callsEnsure all relevant physical assets are recorded in Asset Manager and that all inventory-related fields are accurately recordedInspect all received hardware shipments and receiving dutiesDocument processes and maintain event logsInstall various network systems at customer sitesWhat we need to see:2-3 years of experience as a data center technician, field service engineer, or similarBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceIn-depth knowledge of data center environments, servers, and network equipmentExperience with liquid-cooled systemsExtensive experience in installing, monitoring, and maintaining data center equipmentOutstanding ability to work as part of a team, provide IT support, and resolve errorsProficiency in detailing network processesWillingness to travel (~30-35%)BICSI, CNCDPFOA Data center - CFOSDC - certified fabrics optics specialist, DatacenterCNCI – certified network cable installerWays to stand out from the crowd:Network fix, including looking at port counters, errors, etc.Collaboration with R&D and network engineering teamsPositive interaction capabilitiesNVIDIA is at the forefront of breakthroughs in Artificial Intelligence, High-Performance Computing, and Visualization.
