Scale our outsourcing footprint to position Whatnot to exceed customer expectations as our platform continues to grow ā with a particular focus on supporting our International or Trust & Risk vertical
Drive excellent performance and continuous improvement within our partner sites to ensure weāre constantly raising the bar on quality, speed, and efficiency
Lead strategic sourcing processes when our business needs new partners & sites
Go deep on our product and policies ā leaders who succeed at Whatnot operate from deep, first-hand understanding of the experiences they are investigatingĀ
Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external partners, including the ability to synthesize feedback and adjust plans accordingly
Effectively work cross-functionally with a broad range of stakeholders

As our next Vendor Manager, you should have a minimum of 8 years of diverse experience in scalable operations, ideally with experience in managing external (3rd party vendor partners) stakeholders, plus:Ā
Experience in operations, sales or service in a fastpaced, high ambiguity environment required
Minimum 8+ years of diverse experience in scalable operations, ideally with experience in managing external (3rd party vendor partners) stakeholders to get results
Excellent communicator with strong cross-functional skills across different team members
Ability to shift priorities quickly, while maintaining a high degree of organization and control
Strong analytical skills, data orientation, and metrics driven operator
Experience in project management and managing strategic projects with cross-functional teams
Track record of driving process improvements & cost optimizations
š Nice to Have
Experience starting from zero leading the vendor/site selection-to-launch process and strategy
Experience in e-commerce and/or live social platforms
š°Compensation
For Full-Time (Salary) US-based applicants: $140,000/year to $185,000/year + benefits + equity.
The salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills, and expertise. This range is only inclusive of base salary, not benefits (more details below) or equity.
