About the Role As a Senior Product Designer, you will lead and own design for one of our product teams focused on attracting and engaging customers to discover all that GlossGenius offers. You’ll own the strategy and execution of growth opportunities together with your Product and Engineering counterpart—from activation and retention to monetization. You’ll spearhead 0-to-1 product innovation, paving the way for new growth initiatives that will shape the next chapter of our business. Our ideal candidate will be able to craft a diverse set of creative solutions to complex product design problems by working with our product team and leadership on the Growth area.  You must be commutable to our NYC headquarters and will operate in a hybrid environment with 2 days per week in the office (Tuesdays & Thursdays). What You’ll Do Own the entire design  process, from strategy to execution, of your product area Work on the user experience across Growth features within the GlossGenius app Own the end-to-end process for solving UX/UI design problems: ideate, conceptualize, test, and refine Construct user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts Lead user interviews to better understand customer needs to help inform the product design strategy Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers, software and QA engineers, customer success managers, and marketers to design intuitive and engaging user experiences for GlossGenius' customers Deliver products that are recognized as the best in the industry by understanding GlossGenius’s strategic and competitive position Take initiative in thinking of new ways our users can interact with GlossGenius What We’re Looking For  4+ years of experience in a Product Design/UX/UI or related role; prior experience in Growth is a plus Demonstrated experience with sketching, wireframes, visual design, and prototyping for product experiences Experience with advanced prototyping tools (e.g. Principle, Framer, Sketch, Figma, InVision) Proven experience leveraging current AI tools within the design process  Passion for empowering small business owners to be successful; possess a high level of empathy our customers and a strong desire to deeply understand their needs Experience navigating ambiguous high-growth, fast-paced product-driven environments Benefits & Perks Flexible PTO Competitive health & dental insurance options, with premiums partially covered by GG Fertility and adoption benefits via Carrot and Kindbody Generous, fully-paid parental leave policy 401k benefit - employees are eligible to contribute starting day 1 of employment Professional Development - employees receive a yearly stipend for approved learning and educational-related expenses Pre-tax commuter benefits Dependent Care FSA Team Bonding: As a distributed team, being able to build meaningful bonds both virtually and in person is incredibly important to us! We are constantly evaluating how we accomplish this and currently, teams are given opportunities to gather in person throughout the year The starting base salary for this role in New York and California is between $170,000-$210,000 + target equity + benefits. The base salary offered is dependent upon many factors including skills, experience, location, and education.
