Role Overview As the Manager of Identity and Automation Engineering in the Corporate Systems department, you will lead the Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Development & Automation teams. Reporting directly to the Sr Director of Corporate Systems, your primary responsibilities include overseeing the strategic direction, development, and implementation of IAM solutions (primarily leveraging Okta) and ensuring the automation team's capability to deliver efficient and robust solutions using Workato.
Key Responsibilities
IAM Leadership:
Direct the IAM infrastructure's design, implementation, and maintenance, focusing on Okta.
Dedicates 10–20% of their time to working with the Information Security team to ensure all identity initiatives align with enterprise security policies, compliance frameworks, and risk management practices.
Drive the integration and migration of applications onto Okta, developing strategies for smooth transitions.
Act as a subject matter expert in Okta and IAM technologies, mentoring team members and troubleshooting complex issues.
Ensure IAM solutions adhere to regulatory and internal policy compliance requirements.
Document IAM processes, best practices, and technical guides clearly and comprehensively.
Automation & Development Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain structured environments (Development, Staging, Production) to ensure reliable automation deployment and lifecycle management.
Oversee the design and implementation of effective CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient deployment, monitoring, logging, and version control of automation workflows.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and business teams to identify, prioritize, and deliver automation solutions in alignment with business requirements.
Manage the intake process for automation requests using Jira Work Management, ensuring timely delivery and clear communication of project statuses.
Lead the team in developing automation solutions using Workato or equivalent, ensuring best practices for standardization, naming conventions, error handling, and documentation are consistently followed.
Provide guidance and technical oversight to the automation team, resolving complex technical issues and ensuring optimal operational performance.
Continuously evaluate automation initiatives against performance metrics and recommend process improvements or enhancements as necessary.
Ensure team readiness and capability to effectively meet and support growing business automation and development demands.
Lead the design and implementation of scalable integrations using APIs and endpoint management, ensuring reliable data flow and extensibility across enterprise systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).
Direct experience administering Okta, with Okta Certified Administrator certification preferred.
Minimum 7 years of experience in IAM, automation, or related fields, including at least 5 years in IT infrastructure.
Proven experience managing and developing technical teams, demonstrating strong leadership, mentorship, and team-building capabilities.
Expertise in IAM technologies and protocols (SCIM, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, MFA).
Demonstrated ability to establish robust CI/CD pipelines, structured automation lifecycle management, and standardized governance practices. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven experience with Workato or UiPath - preferred
Deep understanding of API architecture and endpoint management, including RESTful API design, authentication methods (OAuth, API keys), rate limiting, and data security best practices.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $107,000- $213,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits. The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description; however, we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be more or less experienced than this job description as posted.
