The Impact You’ll Be Contributing to Moloco: We’re looking for a hands-on, detailed oriented Tax Operations Manager to lead global tax compliance and reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to build and own tax operations in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. This person will report directly to the Head of Tax and play a critical role in shaping and executing our global tax strategy, ensuring compliance across jurisdictions, supporting financial reporting processes to support Moloco’s continued growth and international expansion. The Opportunity: Manage global direct and indirect tax compliance, including US federal, state, city and international filings Lead preparation of ASC740 tax provision and related financial statement disclosures Coordinate with external advisors on tax returns, audits, and planning initiatives Develop and maintain tax calendars, controls and documentation to support SOX controls Monitor and implement tax law and regulatory changes impacting the business Partner with Finance, Legal and People teams to support business initiatives, process improvements and international expansion Assist with transfer pricing documentation and analysis, including Pillar II impacts to the company Monitor Digital Services Tax requirements globally Track and Analyze nexus issues related to employee mobility and sales thresholds  Leverage tax technology solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in planning and compliance How Do I Know if the Role is Right For Me? Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MST preferred 5-7 years of relevant experience in tax compliance and provision (Big 4 and/or in-house experience at global public tech companies preferred) Strong knowledge of ASC740, corporate income tax, and global indirect tax Experience in technology or digital advertising a plus Self-Starter with the ability to work independently Excellent excel/sheets and powerpoint/slides skills Excellent project management skills Ability to communicate complex tax concepts to internal and external stakeholders Our Compensation And Benefits (for United States Residents Only) In accordance with various state laws, the range provided is a reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. We also offer a competitive benefits package.
