About the Role The Twitch Community Discovery & Engagement team manages a wide array of features and systems to help communities form, grow, and thrive on Twitch. These features let people participate in their favorite communities and discover new ones more efficiently. We work hard to bring novel opportunities to the world of streaming both individually and in collaboration with similar streamers. These features will span both web and mobile surfaces. We’re particularly interested in someone that will become an expert in both of these platforms as well as has passion in influencing what these features should be and how they work. Some examples of some of these today are Stream Together, Shared Chat, and Whispers. This role is expected to be fullstack but with a significant bias towards Frontend and Mobile implementations over backend. You will be empowered to work across these various features, and will partner with other engineers, product managers, designers, and data analysts to deliver solutions that allow viewers to connect and streamers to live out their dream jobs. You can work in San Francisco, CA; Irvine, CA; New York, NY; or Seattle, WA. You Will: Work with product managers, technical leads, and other engineers to design, develop, launch, and operate interactive experiences and products Deliver high quality user experiences on both Web and Mobile surfaces.
