If you are too, then we have the right role for you!Autodesk is looking for a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing and vendor management activities for assigned vendors, and projects within multiple categories including HR, Professional Services, Marketing and Technology. This individual must have a track record for developing and implementing sourcing strategies within multiple categories and must be able to lead cross functional teams to execute strategies and complete related contract negotiations. The successful candidate must also have a strong understanding of contractual terms and conditions and demonstrated ability to write and negotiate contracts. The Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager will focus on traditional sourcing models including portfolio analysis, planning, consolidation, supplier scorecards and vendor management.Strategic Sourcing is a dynamic and growing organization within Autodesk’s Procurement Organization. In addition to the specific sourcing and vendor management responsibilities, this position is expected to contribute to the maturity of the overall function. This includes creating and refining processes, tools and templates that can be applied to across all vendors and categories worldwide.This position can be located in either Canada or Dublin, Ireland and it reports to the Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing.ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze data to determine cost savings opportunities through vendor consolidation and/or contract renegotiationsDevelop and implement category and sourcing strategies by collaborating with stakeholders and incorporating a thorough understanding of the business requirements, the departmental strategies and relevant market trendsDrive the RFx process from start to finish; including requirements gathering, identifying potential respondents, identifying go/no go criteria, scorecards with criteria and weighting, bidder's conferences, negotiation and contractingLead complex negotiations for master agremeents and statements of work - serve as a liaison between business and legalHelp identify areas of risk for the business (i.e., indemnities, limits of liability, delivery of service, quality, performance, timeline, warranty, governance or other contractual terms); make recommendations where applicableMaintain proficiency in all relevant policies and procedures; be able to articulate and enforce such policies and proceduresAbility to insert oneself into business and recognize areas that require improvement and make recommendations for efficiency gainMeasure vendor performance against contract SLAs and expectations. Initiate corrective actions in the event of missed expectationsProvide business with approved sourcing tools, processes, and knowledge to qualify vendors and manage vendor relationshipsDrive Supplier Review Meetings with key suppliers and senior level Autodesk stakeholders and provide input on performance and future needs/strategic planningAbility to build and maintain relationships with internal customers / clients as well as vendorsAbility to shine under pressure while dealing with changing priorities and timelinesAbility to clearly demonstrate subject matter expertise in sourcing initiatives to stakeholdersExperience building and maintaining (partnering) effective working relationship with assigned business areaHighly effective interpersonal and influencing skills necessary to obtain continued support from internal clientsHighly developed business and communications skills necessary to successfully represent Autodesk in dealings with third partiesWork with business units and corporate legal staff to prepare legally binding and enforceable documentsRecommend systems and processes improvements to increase contract effectiveness within the enterpriseCoordinate and provide contract and negotiation related training to business unitsLive the Autodesk cultural values by being Smart, Innovative, Adaptable, Inclusive, Impactful, Humble, Courageous, Accountable, Pragmatic and Customer FocusedMinimum Qualifications5+ years experience focused on Strategic Sourcing and Category ManagementPrior vendor management experienceExcellent interpersonal skillsBA or equivalent experienceStrong negotiation and influencing skillsPresentation experiencePrior global company experience a plusProcurement specific qualification a plusLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $93,000 and $127,820. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
