Job Requisition ID #25WD89021Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled SME Commission Forecast Manager to join The Global Commission Team. This role is responsible for commission cost modeling and forecasting for employee incentive costs, preparing analysis and accruals.  This position requires deep knowledge of commission plan and cost modeling to solve complex problems with innovative solutions, striving to continually automate processes for improved accuracy and more timely results with our commission software provider and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commissions, finance, accounting, and sales operations within a global SAAS company.ResponsibilitiesModel and provide forecasts for annual employee incentive costs.  Provide monthly updates to the commission expense forecast, analysis of P&L impact, drivers for changes, and other reporting information as required in order to be an effective story tellerCreate commission accruals and track payments to accrual for accuracy.  Maintain SOX compliance, prepare sign-offs, obtain approvals and provide supporting documentation for external auditorsManage the manual forecasting process for unintegrated transactions with the extended global commission team to ensure accurate input for accruals and reportingEnhance the forecast and modeling process by working with our commission software provider and internal teams to increase automation of forecasting modeling with the goal of automation, improved accuracy, and more timely resultsUnderstand the Sales Compensation Plan and impact on the commission expense forecast and accruals.  Apply judgement to the models to account for the complexities of this PlanProvide data as required to internal and external auditorsCreate and maintain historical KPI’s for commission expense in collaboration with Sales Compensation teamPrepare modeling for commission expenses for various scenariosUnderstand and be able to communicate trends and changes, along with the reason for those changes, to stakeholdersMinimum Qualifications7+ years in finance, accounting, or sales operations within a SAAS companyExpertise in Excel and PBI toolsAbility to solve complex problems with creative solutionsExperience in commission and commission software toolsAbility to work with various stakeholders across the company, including executives.  Able to adopt communication styles depending on the stakeholder, providing advice as a SMEExperience in maintaining SOX controls and documentationCross-GEO team collaboration, requiring meetings outside of normal business hours at timesPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently with close guidance in only the most complex/unusual situationsStrong storytelling skills - ability to clearly explain drivers to changesAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectivelyLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
