This position will be based in our Shanghai, China office and will report to the Senior Director, Global Head of Ethics & Compliance. This role will help implement, monitor, and enhance our global ethics and compliance program in eBay’s APAC locations.What you will accomplish:Lead ethics investigations in APAC in collaboration with management, including developing investigation plans, conducting investigations of reported misconduct, extracting and analyzing data, interviewing witnesses and subjects as needed, collaborating with partners including Legal, People, and Security, and tracking recommended remediationBe a trusted partner to regional business units and functional leads on ethics mattersDevelop and implement regional training and communications on ethics & compliance topics Support onboarding of, collaboration with, and provide ongoing support to APAC ethics ambassadors Help ensure compliance with anti-corruption policies and applicable laws and regulationsPromote a “speak up” culture within the employee populationMonitor systems managed by partner teams and oversee implementation of recommended remediation stepsBuild and maintain periodic reports on compliance program data What you will bring:6+ years of Ethics & Compliance experience or experience in a related control function such as Legal, Finance, Audit, or InvestigationsAbility to provide pragmatic, risk-based advice, drive execution across organizational lines, and manage and think globallyStrong process and problem-solving skills, including prioritization of matters, proactive identification of issues and risks, and implementation of mitigation plansExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively; fluency in Mandarin and proficiency in English are requiredExperience leading internal investigationsExperience and expertise with MS Office, G Suite, and SalesforceBachelor’s degree; advanced degree in law, finance, or a related field preferredPlease see the Talent Privacy Notice for information regarding how eBay handles your personal data collected when you use the eBay Careers website or apply for a job with eBay.eBay is an equal opportunity employer.
