We are seeking a highly motivated Backend Software Engineer to join our team to build and support the entire cloud services ecosystem for AutoCAD products and service offeringsYou will be part of a team of Backend Engineers that build, expand, and maintain the backend cloud solutions for the multi-platform AutoCAD application that serves millions of customers. You’ll be working with modern and diverse technology stacks, including Python, Django, Java, AWS, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, Dynatrace, Docker and moreResponsibilitiesTake part in the research, design & development of cross-platform features – bringing a centralized backend perspective to the tableLead the implementation of best practice and market-standard technologies and methodologiesWork on various internal projects for monitoring, securing, or maintaining the existing backend micro-service architectureCollaborate with many teams across the organization – Developers, UX Designers, Product Managers, QA Engineers, etc.Periodical On-Call responsibility, alongside your fellow team membersMinimum Qualifications 2+ years experience in application backend development - preferably Python / DjangoExperience with public Cloud , e.g. AWS (preferred), Azure or GCP.REST API design and development experienceExperience with Code Testing methodologies and frameworksExperience with relational databases - e.g., PostgreSQL / MySQLExperience with CI/CD methodologiesComfortable with using Git source version control and issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)Strong expertise in agile development and ability to adapt to changing business prioritiesPreferred QualificationsExperience with AWS-based architectureExperience with Docker environments#LI-POSTLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
