Job Requisition ID #25WD88980Position Overview Autodesk is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join the Autodesk Platform Services Team. The team delivers high-value, exabyte-scale and cloud data streaming platform powering desktop, mobile, and web products. This enables our product teams to build cohesive in-product data experiences, our partners to integrate, search and expand our granular data across all Autodesk products.You will report to the Senior Manager, Software Development based in Dublin, Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of and to help evolve developing the engineering discipline in a lean/Agile environment and to contribute to an organization committed to continuous improvement. Our team enables real-time data-centric experiences at scale to make a difference for all of those who imagine, design, and make our world.The role is hybrid with 2/3 days per month required in the office at least.Responsibilities Come up with innovative solutions for resilient data streaming platform at scaleExcel at offering guidance and dismantling obstacles for both your Scrum team and broader colleaguesSpearheading solutions for uncertain milestones, commencing with the clarification of requirements, progressing through meticulous scope planning and execution, and culminating in the vigilant oversight of fellow contributors, thereby ensuring the punctual and triumphant delivery of milestonesYou will collaborate with software architects, product managers, and other stakeholders to iteratively transform high-level requirements into product enhancements that are delivered to consumers incrementally and continuallyParticipate and advise in code reviews.Document and present your ideas and solutions accurately and thoroughlyKeep up to date with latest trends and technologies to anticipate future development needs and requirementsMinimum Qualifications BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field or relevant experience8+ years of hands-on experience in software design, development of cloud services, data streaming/transformations. Experience leading a fast paced engineering teams. Excellent experience in Java, python and other programming languages. Hands-on experience with AWS. Demonstrate senior-level experience with AWS services, specifically S3, Lambda, SQS/SNS, and databases (Aurora, DynamoDB).Hands-on experience with data streaming, transformation, and ETL technologies. Excellent experience in Apache Flink, Kafka and relevant data streaming technologies.Strong problem-solving skills and capability to work on complex systemsExperience in working in an Agile environment​Experience in working with distributed teamProven capability to lead incident response, drive root cause analysis, and implement preventive measuresAPI development experience (REST)Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with CI/CD concepts and experience working with a deployment pipeline such as Jenkins, Terraform.Experience with Databases and database design principles at cloud scaleExperience with building scalable systems and services in the cloudExperience with Observability tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, OpenTelemetry. Passionate about building and motivating engineering teams Experience with driving organizational strategic initiativesExcellent verbal and written communication skills with experience collaborating in a dispersed multicultural team to deliver projects, sometimes responsible for leading initiativesA perpetual learner and often find yourself ideating about new and improved ways of doing things and are confident to share your ideas with the rest of the engineering team.#LI-VD1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
