Job Requisition ID #25WD87990Position OverviewAutodesk is seeking a high-performing Executive Assistant (EA) to support the Senior Vice President (SVP) and a VP of COO Finance. This is more than a traditional support role—you’ll be a strategic extension of the SVP’s office and a core member of the leadership team. You’ll manage day-to-day leader enablement, drive team engagement, act as a culture ambassador, and help coordinate high-impact projects.The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and thrives in fast-moving environments. You’re someone who takes initiative, communicates clearly, builds strong relationships, and knows how to get things done. You’ll bring strong judgment, discretion, and a mindset focused on making the team stronger, more connected, and more effective.This position will report to the SVP, and this is a hybrid role based out of our Portland, Denver, San Francisco, or Toronto office.ResponsibilitiesManage and prioritize the SVP’s schedule, travel, expenses, and key deliverables with high accountability, attention to detail, and discretionServe as the “chief culture officer” for the team—planning events, sparking engagement, and proactively finding ways to keep a global, hybrid team connected and energizedHelp craft team-wide communications, letters, and presentations that are polished, clear, and aligned with leadership tone and valuesLead or support cross-functional team initiatives and act as a light project manager to keep deliverables on track, especially for complex or ambiguous effortsHandle meeting planning, staff agendas, follow-ups, expense management, and shared systems (distribution lists, directories, tools) to keep everything running smoothlyRepresent the SVP with professionalism in interactions across all levels of the organization, handling sensitive topics with discretion and careWork closely with other EAs and team members to align priorities, coordinate across stakeholders, and help improve how the team operatesMinimum Qualifications4–6+ years supporting senior leaders, with a track record of building trust and keeping complex schedules and priorities in sync Strong communication skills—clear, confident writing and the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and formats Demonstrated experience planning team events, coordinating engagement initiatives, or fostering team culture across regionsComfortable managing multiple workstreams at once, especially those involving cross-functional collaborationHigh emotional intelligence—discreet, approachable, and skilled at navigating sensitive or nuanced situations Proficient with collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Slack, Teams, SharePoint)Willing and able to travel for occasional team events or leadership offsitesThe Ideal CandidateYou anticipate needs before they arise, solve problems before they escalate, and constantly look for ways to improve how the team worksYou thrive in people-focused roles, build strong relationships across teams and time zones, and bring energy to team culture and engagementYou write clearly, speak confidently, and adapt your tone and message to different audiences—from polished team-wide updates to informal coordinationYou juggle priorities, move fast without dropping the ball, and can run with projects that are complex, cross-functional, or loosely definedYou handle confidential information with care, earn trust quickly, and take pride in being the person others rely on to get things doneLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $83,000 and $143,220. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
