In this role, you will primarily be responsible to provide IT infrastructure support and act as a business liaison between IT and Greater China Commercial and Manufacturing business units. This position will need to be the IT technical subject matter expert for IT Infrastructure and networking and also lead a regional team. You will need to be a self-starter and do well with minimal direction and seek opportunities for improvement for improvement. The ideal candidate will understand technology’s intersection with the business and will work in an environment that is collaborative, innovative, fun, and build relationships with stakeholders along the way.ResponsibilitiesBe a champion for change; always pushing iterative improvementAct as a liaison between local leadership and GIS management to relay business needsTake ownership of tasks and projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and effectively with minimal supervisionProvide and oversee infrastructure and end-user support for local Greater China officesCollaborate closely with global IT teams to determine the maintenance and growth of IT needs for the Greater China region.Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to confirm these requirements will support the business initiativesProject manage and collaborate with other global IT teams to deliver a reusable, manageable and scalable solution to these requirementsLiaise with other IT Subject Matter Experts to stay up to date with the latest applications and featuresEnsure that all vendor management activities comply with internal policies and external regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of vendor agreements, performance metrics, and related activitiesCreate and maintain budgets for various projects and departments and ensure that budgets are aligned with organizational goals and financial constraintsReport against service levels by measuring how successful the team performs against key performance metricsCollaborate with managed service partners for tier 1 and remote office support to ensure seamless service delivery.RequirementsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese including the ability to take something complex and present it in a way that is easy to understandNeed to have hands-on system and network administration experienceExcellent customer engagement and communication skillsProven ability to build and manage teamsAbility to manage multiple projects and responsibilities in a fast-paced environmentcFDA, FDA or regulated systems experience is preferredExceptional attention to detailGood organizational and time-management skillsAdaptability to rapidly changing environments and technologyExperience presenting findings and challenges to senior executivesExperience/EducationTypically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree with at least 8+ years’ experience leading System & Network Management/Business Analysis and/or Project ManagementOverall knowledge of most areas within corporate functions or sub-functionWe are a company deeply rooted in belonging, promoting an inclusive environment where employees feel valued and empowered to contribute to our mission.
