Your work will directly impact commission payouts, helping ensure employees are rewarded fairly and in alignment with company guidelines.Beyond processing and reporting, you'll develop data-driven insights to forecast future payments, determine accruals, and analyze compensation trends—providing valuable information that supports strategic decision-making.Additionally, you will serve as a trusted point of contact for commission-eligible employees, business leaders, and HR partners, ensuring a smooth and transparent compensation process while identifying opportunities for improvement. Success in this role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and a strong ability to work with data. ResponsibilitiesCalculate compensation programs in accordance with established practices, ensuring employees receive fair and appropriate compensation for their positionProduce reporting and analytics for commission and associated metrics to help analyze the incentive plan effectiveness in driving desired resultsAssists with improving the compensation processes, focusing on improving efficiency, reducing exceptions, and automating processesReview compensation changes in individual wages and salaries for accuracy in the commission calculationsCoordinate variable pay programs including commissions, bonuses and SPIF payoutsCalculate monthly and quarterly accruals for the various compensation plansDevelop and maintain effective communications to plan participants on payout targets and results and respond to inquiries as neededDeliver exceptional level of service to internal and external stakeholders, maintaining sensitive and confidential data with the highest degree of discretion Partner with People Operations and Finance team on various projects and initiatives as neededProvide critical support to the global incentive compensation process by working cross-functionally with Sales leadership, Sales Operations, Finance, People Operations, Legal and PayrollWork closely with internal Total Rewards team on plan design, modeling and policy matters related to sales commission plansConfigure the sales compensation system to align with commission plan documents, including but not limited to maintaining rules and logic for compensation plans, create compensation letters, update plan participant informationParticipate in Sales Incentive system development and testing, issue resolution, enhancements, and annual sales commission plan processesQualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree, with 2+ years of relevant experience or combination of equivalent education and experienceAdvanced Microsoft Excel experience and ability to manipulate complex spreadsheetsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills; must be comfortable with data analysisHigh level of attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughnessDesired:Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other relevant field of study2+ years of financial analysis experienceFinancial modeling and data manipulation skillsStrong aptitude for technical systems and learning new software toolsExperience with Salesforce.com, Workday and/or SpiffnCino retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position as business operations require. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum of the pay range for each job posting, which is used to determine new hire rates/salaries and takes into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, proficiencies, experience, education, licensures/certifications, as well as business and organizational needs. nCino reserves the right to modify the posted range consistent with our internal practices and external market movement.
