Ensuring all of our Critical Facilities are well supported, allowing our Data Center Leads to prioritize maintaining critical facilities and customer services.ResponsibilitiesAdministrationProvides support across the Campus for administrative dutiesProactively enable key business stakeholder campus activities in regards to tours, customer, & VIP visitsSupport the Campus Director as required to facilitate Campus level staff eventsAs required, provide support to the UK OLT, in the event that the UK VP requires itEnsure the production of routine operational reporting as required to maintain Campus governanceBecome a trusted pair of hands to the site teams, helping to influence and drive improved employee satisfaction survey outcomesMaintains the conference rooms and tour schedules while customers are on-siteMay generate purchase requisitions and coordinate with vendors for delivery and invoicingAssists with special projects, as assignedCustomer SupportEducates customers on the datacenter policies and procedures, the facility and services to customers while on siteCultivates and enhances positive customer experiences when visiting the datacentersCoordinates customer work visits and escorts customers and/or vendors in the datacentersEnsures customer inquiries and issues are resolved while customers are on siteIdentifies potential trends in customer inquiries and uses substantial knowledge of operating procedures to make recommendationsProvides substantial induction learning tours to new customers to orient them to the site; may provide coaching and mentorship to team members on customer learning toursDirects customers throughout the facilities, as neededOnsite Customer Liaison Maintains positive business relationships with local vendors in support of customer's administrative needs; provides information about local vendors to customers upon requestProvides back-up coverage on the inventory ordering of supplies to maintain customer facing areas in the datacentersPartners with teams in the tracking of customer shipments when on-siteUses substantial knowledge to discern customer satisfaction issues and uses judgment to solve for; and if necessary escalate, to proper team members/managementQualificationsWould suit graduate looking to start a career in business operations/data centers/infrastructure servicesExperience of delivering customer servicePresentation skills would be an advantageAble to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholder, from the cleaner to the CEOBehaviorsTakes responsibilityConstructively challengesPassion for service delivery & customer experienceTime management & effective prioritizationFlexible & adaptableEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.  If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing this form.
