Supports the overall team.ResponsibilitiesSupports the team with completing tasks in resourceful and effective waysWorks on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiativeUnderstands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutionsDetermines methods and procedures on new assignmentsDocumentation & System UpdatesUses system tools to maintain accurate records, and handles standard queries that ariseEnters all goods received in the stock inventory system, updates the database, and correlate the items received to ensure order requirements are fulfilledCarries out periodic stock checks to ensure accuracy and makes adjustments recommendations on new procedures and assignments for better solutioningShipping & ReceivingReceives goods delivered to the company either directly or following acceptance by securityCompletes daily warehouse duties, satisfying internal customers’ requirements, and ensuring the accuracy of shipmentsEnsures items are dispatched and coordinates speedy and efficient delivery of goods to the required destination; obtains sign-off for receiptUses Shipment spotlight and shipment dashboard for customers inbound/outbound shipments.Understands how to receipt goods using system toolsEnsures safety data sheets are available for all hazardous material stored in the warehouseProblem SolvingPartners closely with suppliers Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and internal customers on stock and projected delivery times for special ordersUnderstands how to interrogate various systems to resolve problemsInventory ManagementAllocations of stock inventory to internal customers, scheduling materials to be moved to and from Data Center’s; coordinates specialized inventory transfers with related departmentsMaintains and monitors minimum/maximum stock for Projects & Operations teamsConducts monthly physical counts, reconciling variances, inputting data into an Warehouse Management System (WMS) software and Equinix databasePicks and correlates items ordered and stores them in the relevant Data Center bins for the customers for specialized ordersInform recipients of any shortfall's in quantities and backorder timesMonitors and updates the asset register for all logistics equipment in the Data Center'sHazardous MaterialsHandles hazardous materials independently and advises others on best practicesEnsures proper storage of hazardous materials and monitors on-site storage for compliance and makes recommendations for solutionsFollows and complies with hazardous materials protocols as described by regional regulatory bodiesEquipmentOrganizes stored and/or abandoned equipment and maintains inventory of equipmentUses the aging shipment business processes/tools for shipments over 5 days 14 days, 30 days and 90 daysLiaises with the Customer Service Associate (CSA) team on these issues and determines solutionsLeads tracking of  "in use" and or "highly available" software licensesGuides usage of software lifecycle for software license managementUses history data and systems to renew or solve unique renewal issues for software licensingData Center SupportLeads delivering and removal of customers equipment from cagesWhen requested by a Smart Hand (SH) request,  packs customers equipment with packing material so that it can be shipped from the Data CenterTracks all inbound and outbound shipments for internal/external customersSupports the projects managers and operations teams with the acquisition of non-stocked productsEnsures logistics team follows best practice within Data Center'sQualificationsTypically requires a high school diploma and 4-6 years of equivalent work experienceRegional hazardous materials certification preferredThe United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $58,000 to $88,000 per yearOur pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
