Job Requisition ID #25WD88979Position OverviewAutodesk is seeking a talented and experienced Manager to lead our BI and Data Engineering Team and drive the development and implementation of our business intelligence solutions. The mission of the team is to empower decision makers through trusted data assets and scalable self-serve analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, business intelligence, and team leadership. This role will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, databases, and BI tools to support data-driven decision-making across the CTS organization. You will join the CTS Business Effectiveness department and report to the leader of the departmentResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of data engineers and BI developers, Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.Manage data warehouse plans across a product vertical and drive data quality across the product vertical and related business areasManage the delivery of high impact dashboards and data visualizations to drive the design, building, and launching of new data models and data pipelines in productionCollaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and objectives.Translate technical designs into business appropriate representations and analyse business needs and requirements ensuring implementation of data services directly correlates to the strategy and growth of the businessAddress questions from downstream data consumers through appropriate channelsCreate data tools for analytics and BI teams that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leaderStay up to date with data engineering best practices, patterns, evaluate and analyse new technologies, capabilities, open-source software in context of our data strategy to ensure we are adapting our own core technologies to stay ahead of the industryMinimum Qualifications 3  to 5  Years managing data teamsBA / BS in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related fieldBuilt processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, data quality, and workload managementExperience with Snowflake, Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, Snow SQL, Snow Pipe. Must have worked on Snowflake Cost optimization scenarios.Overall solid programming skills, able to write modular, maintainable code, preferably Python & SQLHave experience with workflow management solutions like AirflowHave experience on Data transformations tools like DBTExperience working with GitExperience working with big data environment, like, Hive, Spark and PrestoReady to work flexible hoursPreferred QualificationExperience supporting Support, Customer Success,DAG AirflowsKnowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision techniques.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).Working knowledge of Power BIAWS environment, for example S3, Lambda, Glue, Cloud watchBasic understanding of SalesforceExperience working with remote teams spread across multiple time-zonesHave a hunger to learn and the ability to operate in a self-guided mannerIdeal CandidateYou’re a true data ninja and leader – you can creatively mine multiple disparate datasets to glean insights, answer business questions and provide next best actionsYou want to understand Customer Success – you’re not just satisfied with building a cool model, you also want to make sure it’s relevant in the field.You help tell compelling stories using data and reporting tools– weave together a narrative of what is happening in the business based on your analysis.You engage business leaders to determine how to best answer their questions through analysis and data science methodologiesLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
