As a Sourcing Manager, your goal is to lead a team in Sourcing while optimizing Professional Services and Consulting spend categories.What you'll DoDirect management responsibilities for all designated resources, team objectives, morale, and cultureMotivate the team to deliver outstanding sourcing objectivesSet regular individual goals and provide ongoing performance feedback as well as formal performance appraisalsAttract, hire, and retain top talentCollaborate closely with internal business customers and suppliers on strategies and execution of complex sourcing projectsActively partner with Adobe teams on strategic supplier performance initiatives sought to improve financial and operational performanceBuild trusted relationships with senior internal leadersPro-actively seek value/savings and efficiency opportunities across category spend; negotiate and report in appropriate format.Demonstrate assigned category expertise and business sense by defining category standards and operating procedures.Develop, issue and lead RFx activity to find the best sourcing solutions that meet business and commercial requirements; lead commercial negotiations to ensure Adobe receives the best value and associated cost savingsCollaborate with legal for negotiations of large/high risk agreements; ensure favorable commercial terms and mitigate riskReport progress on a weekly basis, indicating work planning and work in progress. Add agreements, service details and payment forecasts into procurement systems in a complete and timely mannerDrive continuous improvement and change management initiatives.Lead planning and direction of Sourcing/Procurement initiatives.Uses and maintains procurement tools according to Global Procurement standards and expectationsProcesses contracts according to Adobe Legal Playbook and policiesApplies supplier relationship management techniques to ensure the supply base is providing required level of services, including but not limited to supplier business reviews, spend analytics, etc.What you need to succeedA bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; MBA or JD preferredMinimum 2-3 years of people management experience in a fast-paced, enterprise-level environment with direct experience in sourcing Consulting and Professional Services and similar categoriesFamiliarity with fiscal planning cycles and ad hoc financial analysisExperience leading RFx processes, contract negotiations, and supplier relationships.Sound understanding of procurement practices and techniques including the development and implementation of category management strategies, including those applicable to professional services and consulting categories.Ability to read and interpret contract specifications within the Procurement processPurchasing systems and order management software knowledgePositively influencing various partners and improving business dynamics both within Global Procurement and broadly across Adobe; evidence of continuous positive customer feedbackAware of personal strengths and weaknesses; receives, applies, and gives useful feedbackStrong skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPointFamiliarity with BI reporting and spend analysisHigh attention to detail and the exercise of sound judgment and decision-makingExceptional written and verbal communications, time management and social skillsSelf-motivated to achieve results without requiring constant follow-upReorders priorities on short-notice and adapts to changing requirementsHandles workload and team priorities effectively. Flexible working times based on company requirements at various times through the business year and quarter.Ability to navigate through ambiguous scenarios and translate insights into actionable sourcing strategies.Excellent emotional intelligence (EQ) and influencing skills to improve business dynamics both within Global Procurement and broadly across Adobe.Strong negotiation, communication, and customer management skills with the ability to influence key business decisions.Growth mindset—open to feedback, continuously improving, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $98,800 -- $214,400 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
