We care deeply about how our products are built, how they look, how they feel, and how they function. We're looking for an experienced Staff mobile engineer to join our Swift squad—a team of dedicated engineers working on the next version of our Apple Design Award winning iOS app, tvOS app, and macOS app. We enjoy a strong relationship with Apple, allowing us to push the boundaries of what we can build across our platforms, and our team members are constantly challenging and evolving how we build. We've designed our tech stack to provide the best possible developer experience so you can focus on solving the right challenges; we obsess over performance, reliability, privacy, and security. Our team strives to quickly adopt modern Apple tech including Swift 6 and SwiftUI.Success in this role is shipping, maintaining and iterating on best-in-class iOS, tvOS, macOS apps that enable our customers to do their best work.What You’ll DoBuild our flagship iOS app and lead by creating fluid interfaces that remain smooth and responsive with large datasetsDefine and refine architecture, technologies and development practices that will be used across the productMentor a growing team of engineers on sustainable engineering practices balancing beauty, scale, and performanceReceive and offer technical feedback through pair programming and code reviewsPromote engineering excellence with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainabilityCollaborate closely with design, product and leadership to understand what our needs will be in the years to comePartner with web and backend teams to design effective cross-platform API contracts and data flowsWhat You’ll Need To SucceedAn extensive portfolio of gorgeous mobile experiences which you owned from concept to launchA love of product design, polished interfaces, and exceptional productsExperience building pixel-perfect and accessible user interfaces on iOSTrack record of providing mentorship and helping senior engineers accelerate their growthExperience balancing local and remote data representations to enable sophisticated real-time interface interactions with animation, orchestration and responsivenessSwift fluency and experience with Combine, Concurrency, and GraphQLExperience designing and developing features that take advantage of OS features that are unique to native mobile apps, e.g. Live Activities, App Intents, CoreImage or similarA dedication to learning and sharing ideas with your fellow engineersMastery of breaking down, discussing, and communicating abstract technical conceptsOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $153,600 -- $286,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
