The Opportunity:We're seeking a Cloud Engineer who balances the capabilities of system administration and software development. The ideal candidate will bring a sensitivity and respect for the status quo coupled with vision, perseverance and drive to effect steady improvement and modernization towards best practices and innovation.What we're looking for:BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experienceDemonstrated ability in full-stack development and system administrationExperience in Linux system administration, particularly with RedHat variantsSolid knowledge of and experience with common Internet protocols, in particular, DNS and DHCPSolid experience in running and operating services in private datacenter and public cloud (AWS and Azure)Experience running business-critical services at scaleExpertise with Python, and modern software development methodologiesProficiency with API design and development using modern API frameworksExperience with relational databases and database design, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform)Experience with configuration management concepts and tooling, particularly SaltStackExperience with monitoring and observability, particularly PrometheusSolid interpersonal skillsSolid written and oral communication skillsBonus:Experience with GoExperience with InfobloxExperience with React frontend developmentExperience with CI/CD pipelines and methodologiesExperience with ServiceNow developmentWhat you'll do:Work with a team of Cloud Engineers in the Network Engineering organization, running and developing foundational, high-scale, business-critical services used by Adobe products, including DNS, DHCP, and IPAMParticipate in a regular on-call rotationHelp run the day-to-day operation of these services ensuring reliable service deliveryHelp to design, build, deploy, and run the next generation of these servicesRegularly interact with internal customers, to understand their needs, enable their success, and incorporate their feedback into service improvementWork with smart people all over the world to help ensure the success of Adobe products and services!At Adobe, you will be immersed in an exceptional work environment that is recognized throughout the world on Best Companies lists (http://www.adobe.com/careers/awards.html).
