Strategic Procurement ManagerDescription -What a Strategic Procurement Manager does at HP:Analyzes industry trends and procurement performance to support a supply category, and reports results of analyses to a procurement manager.Conducts data analysis to track procurement performance metrics, reviews them on a regular basis, and leverages insights to identify opportunities for improvement.Performs tasks as assigned and applies experience to align individual work with overall strategy using discretion and judgment.Contributes to the development and execution of strategic sourcing strategies to achieve business goals and financial objectives.Supports in the development of an actionable plan for a sourcing program across the various spend streams while protecting quality and service levels, ensuring a well-structured procurement program.Collaborates with internal and external partners to engage with partners projects and meet procurement objectives.Learns to utilize supply chain and financial modeling tools to manage supply chain activities.Maintains accurate procurement records and documentation, and ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in procurement activities..Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in procurement, supply chain, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.Cross-Org SkillsEffective CommunicationResults OrientationLearning AgilityDigital FluencyCustomer CentricitySustainable impact is HP’s commitment to create positive, lasting change for the planet, its people, and our communities.
