Job Requisition ID #25WD86270Position OverviewAutodesk Data Platform (ADP) provides a centralized data and analytics platform for entire Autodesk’s products, services, and business needs. The ADP Stream Processing System team is looking for a Software Engineer to join a very talented and seasoned engineering team.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain robust and scalable back-end applications using JavaDevelop and manage data pipelines using Flink and Kafka for real-time data processing and integrationDesign, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs to enable seamless interaction between various components of the systemDesign and implement microservicesUtilize cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deploying and managing applicationsWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standardsConduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure code quality and reliabilityDevelop automation for Integration and System testingWork closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutionsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldProficiency in Java and related frameworks e.g., Spring, HibernateStrong knowledge of SQL and experience with databases like PostgreSQLExperience with Kafka for real-time data streamingExpertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIsExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google CloudStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environmentFamiliarity with containerisation tools like DockerKnowledge of CI/CD tools and practicesExperience with monitoring and logging tools for cloud servicesExperience with Testing frameworksPreferred QualificationsJava and related frameworks e.g., Spring, HibernateSQL and databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or OracleKafka and Flink for real-time data streamingRESTful APIs design and implementationCloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google CloudAnalytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skillsContainerisation tools e.g., DockerCI/CD tools and practicesMonitoring and logging tools for cloud services#LI-AA1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
