Reporting to the Senior Manager of Software Development for Factory Design, you would be enthusiastic about delivering solutions aimed at providing a device-independent experience. The ideal candidate will also have experience in all aspects of software development.Autodesk offers a hybrid work experience and are also open to providing a fully remote experience to you.Responsibilities Develop a high-performance team to deliver factory design features to internal consumers and external customersConnect team members' work with organizational goalsEnhance engineering efficiency by identifying opportunities and implementing necessary improvementsFacilitate the resolution of impediments for the team on dependencies or other such roadblocksCollaborate with teams across organizational boundaries to achieve project goals and timelinesPromote a culture of customer-centricity and customer empathy. Solve critical customer incidents and issues promptlyBuild Customer Trust by delivering resilient, performant, scalable, and secure solutionsPromote a culture of company success over individual team successParticipate in developing clarity on project plans and help teams adapt to required changesExperience communicating achievements, updates, risks, and resolutions to partnersManage team performance and support each team member in their career development and professional growthMinimum Qualifications BS in engineering, computer science, or equivalent industry experience8 years working experience developing commercial software applications with at least 3 of those years as a manager leading software development teamsUnderstanding of object-oriented programming principles and Service Oriented ArchitectureExperience in frontend development such as JavaScript/HTML/CSSProficiency in software development practices and methodologiesExperience presenting to large audiences and leading group activitiesExperience making necessary tradeoffs to provide software solutions against accelerated timeframesExperience collaborating with colleagues across different time zonesExperience managing changes in priorities and requirements, even if it is late in the development cycleUnderstanding of Agile and Scaled Agile frameworksPreferred Qualifications Experience with WebGL and 3D graphics programmingExperience building progressive web applicationsMasters in Computer Science or a related engineering disciplineUnderstanding of Discrete Event Simulation#LI-PW1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
