This role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills. You will lead a dedicated engineering scrum team, contribute to the development of desktop applications written in C++, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This position offers a flexible hybrid work model, allowing you to work from home or in the office.ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a highly skilled engineering scrum team in Pune, focusing on developing, testing, and deploying desktop applications in C++Oversee release processes to ensure timely and high-quality software deliveriesMentor and train junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvementWork with globally distributed stakeholders to align development efforts with Autodesk’s business goalsEnsure compliance with international security standards for software development and test infrastructureImplement agile methodologies to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality deliverablesProvide insights and recommendations on software design, development practices, and process improvementsContribute to the development of cross-platform native applications for Windows and LinuxMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline5 -8 years of software development experience, preferably in C++Strong C++ and Data Structures, Object Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, Computer Science fundamentalsWindows programming and experience with Microsoft Visual Studio IDEFamiliarity with Linux and Windows development environmentsSelf-starter who can quickly adapt, identify key challenges, and develop effective solutionsExperience with agile scrum methodologiesStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to mentor and guide junior engineersA pragmatic approach to problem-solving and goal achievementPreferred QualificationsExperience with enterprise tools such as CMake, Git, Jenkins, JIRA, and VSCodeProficiency in scripting languages such as Python or JavaScriptExperience with Docker and Windows containersFamiliarity with cross-platform native application developmentStrong understanding of software security standards and best practices#LI-SB4Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
