We are building our finance organization in Bangalore and are looking for a Tax Analyst to join our team.This position will report directly to our Indirect Tax Manager and will work closely with leadership in Dublin and San Francisco, as well as team members in Bangalore. We value a growth mindset and a passion for learning innovative technologies.ResponsibilitiesAssist with the compliance process for a remit of global group companies, working closely with senior tax analysts and the global tax teamConduct ongoing analysis of tax compliance, including research and documentation of indirect tax law developmentsDevelop knowledge of VAT principles and US indirect tax laws applicable to the businessGain in-depth knowledge of tools and applications supporting the VAT/Sales Tax processStrive to add value to current processes through automation and simplificationAssist with tax planning initiatives, tax audits, and tax technology projectsPerform customer and vendor invoice compliance reviews and follow up on correctionsCarry out tax account reconciliations and identify any required journal adjustmentsMinimum Qualifications1-2 years of relevant practice and/or industry experience with a focus on international indirect tax complianceExperience in VAT and/or Sales Tax, with a keen interest in international taxes including LATAM, APAC, and emerging taxes such as Digital Services TaxesExperience with SAP, Vertex, and Alteryx is a significant plus but not requiredStrong sense of responsibility, initiative, and high-quality work standards#LI-AV1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
