Job Requisition ID #25WD87351Position Overview The Territory Solutions Engineer (SE) will be responsible for leading all technical aspects of an Autodesk sales campaign by supporting partners and internal sales teams through direct engagement with end users. The SE uses in-depth industry and software knowledge to uncover customer business issues and suggest improvements, earning the status of a trusted advisor. They will collaborate with multiple internal sales teams, Technical Solutions Executives (TechSE), and Autodesk Authorized Partner teams to provide pre-sales technical assistance.Responsibilities Communicate and align customer business objectives with Autodesk technology offerings to deliver effective value messagingFacilitate discovery workshops of various sizes to uncover business issues, drivers, and initiatives, using this information to link Autodesk solutions to measurable business outcomesCommunicate product and workflow features and benefits in pre-sales situationsPresent Autodesk products to prospective customers through engaging presentations, delivered both in person and via web-based platformsEnsure datasets and related scripts are prepared correctly according to regional requirementsSupport local user group meetings by proactively participating in local, state, and national industry-related groups. Activities may include presentations, panel discussions, and product demonstrationsCollaborate with internal Autodesk departments such as BSM, Technical Marketing Managers, and Product Teams to communicate regional requirementsHelp build strategic relationships with accounts and contribute to future sales opportunitiesServe as a Product/Workflow Evangelist by becoming an expert in the Autodesk product ecosystem. Effectively communicate positive, solutions-oriented messaging to customers seeking the best-fit product for their needsEncourage customer confidence in making informed decisions about Autodesk solutionsCollaborate with the broader TechSE/SE team across the APAC regionMinimum Qualifications Degree or equivalent qualificationAt least 5+ years of relevant industry experience in Architecture or Structural disciplinesExcellent English communication and presentation skillsIndustry experience in Australian or New Zealand projects is desirableStrong technical proficiency in one or more of the following: Revit, Advance Steel, Plant3D, or NavisworksIn-depth experience with leading building design software (e.g., Revit, Advance Steel, Plant3D, or Navisworks); knowledge of building performance analysis software is a plusFamiliarity with Autodesk Cloud solutions is desirableSolid understanding of BIM-based workflowsCommitment to becoming an expert in Revit, Advance Steel, Plant3D, and NavisworksStrong desire to maintain current knowledge of industry best practices, business processes, and technologiesProven ability to work collaboratively with technical teams, marketing/sales professionals, and project managersDemonstrated capacity to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong track record of meeting deadlines and taking initiativeExcellent group facilitation skillsWillingness to work within the Australian time zonePrevious experience in technical sales is desirable, though individuals from non-sales backgrounds will also be consideredEnergetic, dynamic, and enthusiastic personality, with the ability to engage all levels of stakeholders#LI-KC1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
