Job Requisition ID #25WD87286Position OverviewThe Autodesk Developer Enablement Team empowers internal and external developers to seamlessly integrate Autodesk solutions across desktop and web platforms. We are seeking a motivated Principal Software Engineer in Test to join us in Bangalore, India, and be part of our journey in building the next-generation platform.You will work alongside a team of diverse, intelligent, and driven engineers. In this role, you will own software quality and ensure that released software meets or exceeds expectations. You will be responsible for building, owning, and maintaining test automation frameworks for various components of the Delivery Platform and will use agile practices to enable rapid, iterative development.ResponsibilitiesOwn the overall quality of the platform, components, and servicesDesign, build, and maintain test automation for desktop clients and componentsAlign individual goals with broader organizational objectivesCollaborate effectively with internal and external teamsDrive and champion CI/CD and automation practices across the organizationContribute to both manual and automated testing for related components and releasesMinimum Qualifications10+ years of software engineering and test automation experienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical fieldExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with Scrum and Agile processes is a plusProficiency in C#, JavaScript, C++, and AWS for desktop/web developmentExperience or familiarity with automation frameworks and practices such as GTest, Selenium, TDD, and BDDCross-platform development experience with Windows, macOS, and Linux is a plusThe Ideal CandidateYou are passionate about product quality and test automationYou understand what it takes to build and support business-critical desktop clients, components, services, and frameworksYou have a strong interest in programming, CI/CD, and automationYou are customer-oriented and driven to address customer pain pointsYou are eager to lead and influence engineering quality practices#LI-RV1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
