Our software is used by everyone - from design professionals, engineers, and architects to digital artists, students, and hobbyists. The Principal Design Program Manager will support the Design Operations team within the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) Solutions division. This role involves leading and managing complex data enablement programs for AEC’s Product Analytics team. The Product Analytics team is at the cutting edge of developing and delivering data products, data tools and data services for Autodesk’s products. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, data science, product, and engineering, to ensure that product organizations can delight their users and achieve their business outcomes through successful adoption of the data solutions developed by the Product Analytics team. This role is a unique opportunity to work across all levels of the product organizations with multiple stakeholders and to be a part of Autodesk’s data-driven transformation.  Offering a unique balance between autonomy and support, this role is fully empowered to drive the enablement programs working closely with the Product Analytics organization while having a team of Design Program Managers to lean on for practice excellence and support.  The role is part of a supportive team environment that values collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Strategic Program ManagementEstablish and manage specific programs to enable product teams to become data-drivenDevelop and maintain data-driven roadmaps and schedules for various productsDefine KPIs and success metrics to assess the impact of data enablement programsCreate and facilitate workshops, playbooks, and training sessions to help teams leverage data and data solutions effectivelyPerform critical path analysis to mitigate risks and identify alternative solutionsMonitor programs to ensure completion within defined schedules, budgets, and quality parametersPrepare and distribute various status reports to executive and functional managementStakeholder Collaboration and CommunicationCollaborate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and drive adoption of data-driven decision-making and product developmentMaintain strong relationships and communication channelsAct as a champion for data-driven culture within the organization, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives and driving awareness of available capabilitiesServe as an internal spokesperson for the programs, planning and delivering internal and external communications to the appropriate audienceDefine standards and templates for communication for each of our data products, data tools and data processesEnsure clear and consistent information distribution and define program content for accurate messagingProgram Evaluation and ImprovementAnalyze program metrics and trends to evaluate success and enhance the enablement strategy for effectivenessEnhance team efficiency and efficacy by aligning with other Design Program Managers and streamlining operationsMinimum Qualifications8+ years of customer success or related experience in a dynamic, cross-functional environmentStrong understanding of data-driven decision-making, experimentation frameworks, and personalization technologiesExperience working with internal product development teams (engineering, product, data science, UX, etc.)Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skillsExperience in driving organizational changeAbility to travel as neededPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with data analytics tools, A/B testing methodologies, and customer data platformsCertified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certificationProficiency in Airtable, Miro, Microsoft Project, relevant AI toolsProficiency in Human Centered Design methodsLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
