Our product engineering culture will empower you to make effective decisions, work collaboratively, and take accountability for engineering projects at the core of the company and the leading edge of the latest industry technology trends.The team is seeking a Principal Software Engineer - Mobile to work with existing full-stack development teams in their journey towards becoming a world-class, transformational engineering team.ResponsibilitiesLead & guide an autonomous team that will manage a full life cycle for a Mobile App across the Android & iOS platforms in an agile-based developmentHands-on responsibility for designing, developing, and delivering high-value applications with strong emphasis on cloud-based and AI-powered solutionsWriting a high-quality code, participating in the product walk-through, code reviews, play a crucial role in architecting solutions that require a deep understanding of both current and emerging technologiesLead the Proof of Concepts (POCs) to identify the right libraries and technologies to be used by the mobile app teamCreating and enforcing engineering standards and practices, ensuring that team adheres to the processesPromoting a culture of metrics-based analysis and decision-making within the teamCollaborate and coordinate across teams to ensure reliable, scalable, secure, and highly available software solutionsWorking closely with stakeholders and product teams, requiring excellent collaborative skills and the ability to coordinate efforts across globally distributed teamsMinimum Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related fieldExperience with GraphQL and Restful APIsAndroid or iOS Mobile app development with hands-on React NativeKnowledge & experience of web technology stacks, public cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Java/Python, Serverless architectures, APIsExcellent interpersonal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications Experience deciding when to use architectural, integration and software design patternsUtilize AI agents & tools to automate, optimize leveraging Azure OpenAI models to enhance employee experience productsExperience working within the Agile methodologySelf-motivated, autonomous, empathetic, and excellent communication skillsExperience in mentoring peer engineers#LI-MR2Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
