Job Requisition ID #24WD84212Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Principal Software Engineer with a strong emphasis on building APIs to ERP systems to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of .NET technologies and a proven ability to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining software applications, integrating APIs for ERP systems, Code reviews, Team leading and contributing to the technical strategy of the team.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance software applications using .NET technologiesCreate and integrate APIs to ERP systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionalityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standardsConduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team membersMentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvementParticipate in the architecture and design of new software solutionsTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issuesStay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure cutting-edge solutionsContribute to the development and improvement of internal processes and toolsMinimum QulificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field8+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on .NET technologiesProficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related frameworksExtensive experience in building and integrating APIsStrong understanding of database design and development, with experience in SQL Server or other relational databasesFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWSExperience with microservices architecture and RESTful API designKnowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and ScrumExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, BackstageKnowledge of modern authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT)Experience with ERP Systems is a plusExperience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular libraries/frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)Experience with performance tuning and optimizationFamiliarity with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworksPrevious experience working with popular ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)#LI-MR2Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
