Job Requisition ID #25WD88755Position Overview Autodesk is seeking to hire a passionate Developer Advocate Manager to join our global team in Dublin, Ireland, or Barcelona, Spain. As a member of a high-impact team, you will play an important role in energizing the Autodesk developer community, working with third-party application developers, and influencing the Autodesk engineering teams on API requirements to make the community and Autodesk succeed. We are working closely with the engineering team to develop the core software building blocks on which current and future Autodesk products are being built. We are looking for someone enthusiastic about learning new technologies and promoting technologies to Autodesk partners. We are a global team, and you will collaborate with various people and teams from around the world. Take an active role in writing code samples, working on proof of concept using rapid prototyping principles, and presenting technology in various events. Produce high-quality, readable code, cover it with tests, and participate in code reviews. Continuously learn and improve your coding and design skills. This is a remote or hybrid role with 5-30% travel required as needed.Responsibilities Lead, manage and mentor a global team of talented developersEngage in technical and architectural discussions and decision-makingAttract, hire, and continuously grow top software development talentBuild and foster a high-performance culturePerform code reviews and technology evaluationsBe responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of technical projectsCollaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and build toward a cohesive technical strategyEstimate effort and schedule for projects, adhering to quality standards and continuously adapting to changes in requirements Use knowledge of Autodesk product APIs to assist partners with their business objectives of providing value-added software for their customers. Assist with their software design by providing them with technical information on Autodesk APIs and technologiesCollaborate with technical marketing activities, including presentations and event participationWork with internal product development engineering teams worldwide to resolve customer and developer issues. Act as a liaison between engineering and the developer community by helping to evaluate and influence new API releases to meet the community's needsWork on state-of-the-art technology to bring 3D content creation applications to the cloudWork as an integral member of a high-performance team, making an important individual contributionMinimum Qualifications BS in Computer Science or a related technical field Experience with .NET web application developmentExperience in an OOP environment A constant desire to improve, learn more and take things to the next levelAbility to operate effectively and independently in a dynamic, fluid environmentDetail-oriented and passionate about building software and technologyFluent in English.
