As an Autodesk Senior Product Manager for the Fusion Digital Factory, your job will be to identify, articulate and ensure the delivery of valuable, differentiated solutions within the modern factory environment. In this role, you will be a key contributor, orchestrating a holistic set of solutions that span development to operate phases as well as across different industries, connecting the facility with the production process. You will help identify and influence our collaborative investments within the digital factory solutions space, inclusive of Autodesk and partner technologies. This role will require you to partner with domain/subject matter experts across Autodesk in order to ensure that we implement impactful, relevant and credible solutions for our customers with a platform approach.Behind every great product at Autodesk, there are people with great empathy for the customer, insight into what is possible and the ability to uncover unarticulated customer needs. To be successful in this role, you must be results-driven, an enthusiastic self-starter and a strong collaborative leader.Principle Duties & Responsibilities:Take responsibility for the “whole” product/solution experienceEstablish yourself as the subject matter expert within the Factory spaceClearly articulate user problems & solution objectives in order to guide experience and development teamsIdentify and describe target customers, personas and ecosystem influencersCoordinate the aligned efforts of contributing product managers within the Factory domainDevelop and articulate project intent, scope, timelines and deliverablesCreate solution examples and workflow vignettesDevelop core messages describing solution/approach benefitsEvangelize internally and externally and at all levels, including sales, development, end users, executives, media & analystsPlan and initiate market research and market sizing in order to identify/quantify opportunitiesConduct end-user interviews to uncover customer perceptions, problems and workflowsDevelop long-term strategy, plans and prioritization in order to improve customer capabilities, satisfaction and to enhance Autodesk’s credibilityTrack and understand business performance across regions and within context of changing market conditionsKey Requirements for Candidate:BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering8+ years of experience working within the manufacturing industryFamiliarity with data analytics, data synthesis and hypothesis testingExcellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and diplomatic skillsEnjoys participating in both team and independently accountable rolesFluent in English, both written and verbalExperience authoring and editing video contentStrong project management, planning and research skillsAbility to travel approximately 20%Desired Knowledge and Skills:Agile/SCRUM development process experience4+ years of Product management experience in software industryMBA or MS in Engineering preferredInterest and enthusiasm for data driven decision makingLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
