You would be part of a team that would be in charge of developing the next generation of the Autodesk Construction Cloud mobile application.  The Autodesk Construction Cloud platform is a new and exciting project to enable engineers, architects, superintendents and project owners to view, share, collaborate and perform quality checks on their construction projects and designs. Minimizing human errors in the biggest construction projects in the world. We are seeking a talented Senior iOS engineer to help this effort by providing strong software design and development expertise in the creation of the mobile platform for Autodesk Construction Cloud.Here at Autodesk, we work in an agile, innovative environment, with everyone around collaborative and super professional. As a key member of the Mobile Development team, you will have a huge impact on how we design, build and deliver our products to millions of people by using varied and new technologies, while we make sure you don't forget to have fun along the way! ResponsibilitiesCollaborate globally with software engineers, product designers, product managers, testing engineers and others to implement high-quality features and shared components for the Autodesk Construction Cloud mobile applicationThoroughly unit test, debug and solve defects in implemented software solutionsConstantly research and adopt new technologies / best practicesMinimum Qualifications5+ years of experience building high-quality iOS apps using Swift2+ years of proven experience with SwiftUI/TCAExtensive understanding of iOS framework components and their respective lifecyclesExperience with iOS tool ecosystem for development, testing, debugging, and performance benchmarkingProficient with the iOS SDK, leveraging it to help you create scalable, dynamic, extensible and highly performant UI componentsExperience with reactive programming (e.g. Rx) and DIExperience with Relational database technologiesExperience with outside data sources and API'sExperience defining and writing automated testing on iOS as well as incorporating them in a continuous integration environmentHands-on working knowledge concurrency, threading, client side persistence and architectural best practices on mobile appsSolid understanding of the full mobile development life cycleHigh level understanding of end to end systemsAdvantage - experience working on a large shared code base, being able to contribute code and improve quality and performanceAdvantage - Hands-on Kotlin coding experiencePreferred QualificationsDeep understanding of building and shipping complex shared components and product experiences on frequently updated Mobile appsProven collaboration with product managers, designers and other developers to help create, refine (and even define) products and user experiencesStrong communication skills, enjoys working closely with others while being comfortable with independently delivering large business outcomesAbility to communicate with local as well as remote and international teamsCritical thinker and problem-solving skillsGood project-management and time-management skills - the ability to transform a feature request in to a development plan with effort, integration points and milestonesFlexibility under changing conditions and ability to multi-task between projectsLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $110,300 and $190,300. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
