Job Requisition ID #25WD88710Position OverviewSenior Automation Developer (SDETs) are responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, monitoring, and integrating robust automated testing solutions across the development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Software Engineering, DevOps, Product Management, and QA—to ensure high-quality software delivery that meets both technical and business needs. Your work will support strategic initiatives such as accelerating release cycles, improving product reliability, and reducing production incidents. Personal growth and open knowledge sharing are actively encouraged and supported.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and test suites across UI, API, and integration layersCollaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and define test strategiesIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor test coverage and stabilityIdentify, document, and track bugs and quality issues, providing detailed feedback to the development teamAnalyze test results and root causes to improve product quality and prevent regressionsDrive the adoption of best practices in test automation and quality engineering across the teamParticipate in code reviews and contribute to a high standard of code quality within test automationContinuously improve testing processes, tools, and documentationStay current with new testing tools and strategies, evaluating and incorporating them as appropriateMinimum Qualifications3–5 years of experience in test automation or software development in testProficient in writing automation tests using Cypress or PlaywrightStrong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript or another modern language (e.g., Python, Java, C#)Hands-on experience with automated testing at multiple levels (UI, API, integration, performanceFamiliarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and integrating tests into pipelinesSolid understanding of QA methodologies, software testing principles, and the software development lifecycleExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments and participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectivesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a passion for qualityExcellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams#LI-AK1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
