NVIDIA is looking for a motivated Embedded memory qualification engineer for Memory Solution(MS) Team! MS works with various teams within NVIDIA Engineering includes Board Design, Signal Integrity, Design Validation, Video Bios software, ASIC, and Memory Vendors.In this role, you will be faced with the challenge of qualify multiple alt memory for embedded projects, like Tegra, Auto, shield...etc. Weekly communications, and coordinate peers and operations with specified objectives; conducting project review and creating detail reports for execution teams, and call out to management as needed. Initial and develop a comprehensive project schedule, ensure key deliverables align to BU key achievements for TTM launch. Work with design/validation and cross-function teams to ensure quality assurance activities. What you'll be doing:Deploy memory AC timing in VbiosFine tune memory interface for different type of Graphic memories and vendorsValidate the solution of memory sub-system is good with margin and no concern on stability.P-rel with qualified alt memory and roll in for production.Create software tools to process log files or setup database.Extraordinary programming skills, especially on C/C++, python, Linux shell or Perl is a huge plusFamiliarity with Graphic card or GDDR/HBM memory technologyPrior hardware design experience (or internships) related to high speed subsystem design, memory controller design, High-speed IO protocols, on-chip interconnect would be much appreciatedPower or thermal knowledge What we need to see:MS in EE, CE, CS, Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience)Familiar with PCB layout and high-speed board design issuesGood knowledge of memory signal integrity and analog interface characterizationDetail oriented, reliable, Self-motivated and able to work under pressureExperienced with Python, JavaScript, C/C++, Windows, and LinuxExcellent problem-solving abilities3 + years work experience in embedded Ways to stand out from crowd:Good understanding on memory signaling/protocol (LPDDRX/GDDRX) is a plusStrong programming skills (Perl/Python)Experienced with lab tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers).
