This compliance-focused role will be part of the Global Tax Team which reports to the Tax Manager at Razer Malaysia. You will be responsible for managing direct and indirect tax compliance and strategic tax planning, with a focus on driving tax initiatives across Razer Services Business Units (Razer Gold and FIUU). In this role, you will collaborate with the Management Team based globally and engage with various cross-functional teams to implement global tax strategies. You thrive in an autonomous environment, enjoy problem-solving, and have a proven ability to execute in a fast-paced, high-growth organisation.Job ResponsibilitiesManage direct and indirect tax compliance processes across multiple jurisdictions (e.g., Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Turkey, etc.), including tax filings, and the implementation of tax-related process improvements.Deliver quarterly income tax provisioning and ensure accuracy in valuation allowance assessments and uncertain tax positions.Manage tax audits and serve as the primary point of contact with tax and governmental agencies across the region.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external advisors to implement global and regional tax strategies aligned with business objectives.Ensure proper application and compliance of transfer pricing policies, including performing cost allocations and validating arm’s length pricing across the group.Partner with local finance and business teams to assess tax implications of new product rollouts, transaction structures, intercompany arrangements, and contract flows.Evaluate tax accounting implications and support the business in applying appropriate tax treatment to complex transactions.Monitor and assess the impact of global tax law changes and effectively communicate necessary updates and implementation steps to management and relevant teams.Conduct research and prepare tax technical analysis for significant business transactions and ensure proper documentation of positions taken.Support and lead tax-related special projects and assist in the tax integration in the business operation.Pre-Requisites :Getting onboard Razer will place you on a global mission to revolutionize the way the world games. Razer is also a great place to work, providing you the unique, gamer-centric #LifeAtRazer experience that will put you in an accelerated growth, both personally and professionally.Job Requirement:A university graduate in accounting and finance and / or a member of a recognized body such as MIA, ACCA, CPA or advanced taxation qualification etc.4-6 years of relevant experience preferably in a tax function in a Big 4 firm and/or relevant tax experience in an MNCStrong technical knowledge in direct and indirect taxes, and transfer pricing regulationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsIndependent, able to multi-task under high pressure and deliver on tight timelines** Thank you for your interest in Razer.
