This role requires strong analytical skills to evaluate test data, identify and resolve measurement discrepancies, and ensure accurate calibration of video products. The engineer will also be tasked with installing and validating calibration settings within the devices to meet established performance standards and industry specifications.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive testing and evaluation of video display and source device performance according to THX specifications and procedures.Conduct visual assessments to validate subjective image quality and corroborate objective measurement data.Create and implement calibration settings on partner products to ensure compliance with THX performance standards.Analyze test data and communicate results clearly to relevant parties, both within the organization and externally.Liaise with partners and vendors to address technical inquiries related to THX specifications, testing protocols, and technologies.Provide technical support and troubleshooting throughout the testing and certification process.Draft and revise technical documentation, including test procedures and performance reports, for both internal and external stakeholders.Oversee scheduling and logistics for the testing facility, including tracking products through various stages of evaluation.Assist Sales and cross-functional teams with technical expertise as needed.Perform special projects as necessaryOther duties as assigned.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education & ExperienceBA/BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.Preferred Language SkillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
